🔥 On August 24th, participate in the Queer Love Pop-Up Closet Clothing Swap at the Insect Asylum, part of a fundraiser for Queer Care, Inc. Trade clothes and grab a donation-based haircut, too!
🔥 From September 19-21, check out Uptown Live, a brand-new street festival in the Uptown Historic District hosted by the Chamber of Commerce.
🔥 On September 20, check out Own the Space, a confidence-building workshop for women, non-binary, and femme-identifying folx to get comfortable taking up space in the gym!

It’s finally time to kick off my favorite event of the year, StrongWithDana’s Annual Uptown Community Wellness Fair. This is where I get a chance to showcase my network full of folx who share my values whom I hand choose to recommend to you.
On Saturday, September 6th, we’ll gather at Sunnyside Mall (4455 Malden Street, Chicago, IL) for a day of knowledge sharing, community building, and for all you business owners, networking that doesn’t feel like networking. This event is free to attend!
So if you’re looking for a new therapist (physical or mental health), bodywork practitioner, or specialty trainer, this is the place to meet someone in person and get to know them before signing on.
Another special part of this event is that you can meet more than just physical and mental health folx. You’ll also find local businesses to support your financial and social health, plus lots of goodies and incredible vibes.
This is such a unique and powerful group of professionals. I can’t wait to see you there. You’ll be hearing more about the different practitioners all month long in this newsletter, plus on my Instagram account. So if you’re on the fence, watch these spaces to learn more about who you might meet and what you can do at the fair.
